OBJECTIVES:
To introduce students to facilities, materials, and tools for
Theatrical Production.
To alert students to safety guidelines for the production shops
and stage areas.
To teach students standard construction techniques and procedures.
To familiarize students with a production vocabulary to facilitate
communication.
To allow students to develop drafting skills necessary to present
clear drawings for stage scenery construction .

Assignment: Each student will be assigned
to one Fall Production Running Crew. (DR. 191 for 2 or
3 units of credit.)
The Laramie Project: Sept 29 - 30, Oct 1, Oct 4 - 9
and Oct 14 - 16 with Matinee on Oct 13 at 10am.
As You Like It: Nov 3 - 5, Nov 8 - 13 and Nov 18 - 20
with Matinee on Nov 17 at 10am.
or Work in the Scene Shop
for 30 hour during production hours. We want twice
a week and full blocks of time.
Students must pass the Shop Tool Safety Test with
a grade of 90% to operate power tools in in the Scene Shop.
The test will be given to the class September 15 2004. Shop
is open 3 - 5 pm , Monday through Friday. Shop work may begin
first Monday after Safety Test: Sept 20. All hours should be
completed by Nov 19.

a scene shop Schedule Form or a Crew Card and turn it in to me.
