Standing Power Tools
Radial Arm Saw:
Primary use: Cross cutting board stock
Parts: Lock off knob, on / off switch, guard, guide. (note automatic electric break - wait for it!)
Safety: Eye protection is required.
Table Saw:
Primary use: Ripping board stock
Parts: On / off switch, guard, fence or guide. (note automatic electric break - Much quicker!)
Safety: Eye protection is required.
20" Band Saw:
Primary use: making curved cuts - also used for repeated special cuts in conjunction with jigs.
Parts: On / off switch, guard, fence or guide and manual foot break (Note: Guard is raised or lowered to minimize the throat or exposed blade. )
Safety: Eye protection is required.
14" Band Saw:
Primary use: making small radius curved cuts - also used for repeated special cuts in conjunction with jigs.
Parts: On / off switch, guard, fence or guide and manual foot break (Note: Guard is raised or lowered to minimize the throat or exposed blade. )
Safety: Eye protection is required.
Slide Compound Saw :
Primary use: Cross cutting board stock, especially mitered cuts
Parts: On / off switch, guard, fence or guide and extension tables
Safety: Eye protection is required.
