Comic books have long been the driving force behind my desire to create art. For myself, there's nothing quite like showing up at my local comic shop and searching the shelves for some hard to find back-issue or picking up the newest issues of my favorite books, and spending the rest of the day immersed in a world of impossibilities.

Cartoons contain a memorable quality that nearly nothing else in television or film can match. Characters that have been around for decades are still talked about while Oscar winning actors of only a few years ago have been forgotten. The entertainment value that can be found in cartoons will never diminish.

Entertainment on the Internet is the evolution of illustrators and animators coming together to create something truly immersive and interactive. Sites such as Homestar Runner and Happy Tree Friends are enjoyable in that they are often able to get the viewer to do more than view or read about the various antics of a cast of characters.
