Bio Books Travel

BIO: I do things a little backwards. I've had a great career as a Technical Training Consultant/ Writer for over 15 years, and I've worked for many Fortune 500 companies.

Three years ago I decided to make a life change. I quit my job in Houston, sold my beautiful home, moved to California, and enrolled at San Jose State University full-time. I have been going to school year round so that I may graduate in the Spring of 2006 with a major in Communication Studies. It's been an exciting part of my life!

BOOKS: Outside of textbooks, I find reading books similar to watching movies; that is, I can get lost in another world for awhile. Some books I have read recently and recommend are:

Timeline, by Michael Creighton.

Bonesetter's Daughter, by Amy Tan.

The Beet Queen, by Linda Erdrich.

Daughter of Fortune, by Isabel Allende.

TRAVEL: I love to travel. I have been to 30 states, I've travelled to Canada, Mexico, France and Belgium. I have lived in San Jose, California, Red River, New Mexico, Austin, Texas, and Houston, Texas. I would love the opportunity of working abroad someday.

My most recent trip was last October to Waikiki Beach. I had a great time with my family in Hawaii. If you havent' been there, go!
