This trip started in July 2004 and lasted for one very short week. If you go to Hawaii, stay at least 2 weeks. When I arrived in Hawaii the swell wasn't great, but half way through the week it picked up. I rode these waves, and bigger ones, for the last three days of awesome trip.

This picture is of a surfboard in the making. I made this 5'5" fish in 2003 and it is a copy of one of my boards i broke. The first picture illustrates the laying of fibers of glass that will hold the board in tension. The second image is of one of the fins being set in place.

This first image is of a drawing i did for one of my foundation classes for Industrial Design. The medium is Letraset markers, ball point pen, pastels, and eraser. The second image is of a painting i did for myself. It is an oil based painting and was inspired by the ocean and surfing.
